Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diving

Enriched air, also known as nitrox or EANx, is a specialized gas mixture with less nitrogen than normal air. Breathing less nitrogen allows for longer dives and shorter surface intervals, making Enriched Air courses increasingly popular.

The Enriched Air course offers flexible online learning, allowing you to complete the knowledge development section at your convenience. Connect with your instructor for guidance as needed. Once you’ve finished the independent study, your instructor will teach you practical skills such as tank analysis, enriched air log completion, and nitrox dive computer setup. Optionally, you can complete two dives with your instructor to apply your newly acquired knowledge.

Requirements for the Enriched Air Course

• Minimum age requirement: 12 years old
• Commit to 2-4 hours of engagement for the eLearning component and 1-2 days of instructor-led training
